RESEARCH & WRITING MENTORSHIP

An idea worth
working through.

You might have a question, a pile of reading, or a draft that isn’t quite working. Let’s find what needs attention and develop it together.

Where does your work need a second pair of eyes?

“I have an interest, but the topic is still too broad.”

We’ll work towards a question with a clearer focus and a manageable next step.

  1. What you want to understand
  2. Scope and research question
  3. A plan for the next stage

A second perspective, grounded in research.

My research experience includes AidData, NUS CiRe, Semar Sentinel, UMY, and FAIR. I’ve written 5+ peer-reviewed articles and 5+ public pieces, presented research in Singapore and Basel, Switzerland, and spent two years mentoring at Mu’allimin Scientific Community. I bring that experience to your questions and drafts, with feedback you can work with.

Move your work forward.

A few things
to know.

Do I need a finished draft?

No. You can bring an early question, an outline, or work in progress. Tell me what you’re working towards and where you feel stuck.

What does the mentorship include?

Depending on your needs, we can work on your research question, evidence, argument, writing, or presentation. We’ll agree the materials, sessions, feedback rounds, and timeline before booking.

How much does it cost?

I’ll quote after reviewing your needs and the proposed scope. If you have a deadline, share it when you enquire so we can discuss what is feasible.

What should I send when I enquire?

A short description of the project, its intended audience or purpose, your current stage, and any deadline. You can also mention the length of your draft and the help you’d find most useful.

What are you working on?

Tell me a little about it, and we’ll discuss where I can help.
